Sunbeds & Parasols on Mojacar Playa's Golden Sands

Valle del Este is just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean and its miles of unspoilt beaches. Mojacar Playa (above) has all the facilities you would expect of a holiday destination with 9 km of sandy beaches stretching from the Cabo de Gatar Natural Park in the South West to Marina de la Torres in the North East.

The second of the two beaches (above) was used in the 1972 film of treasure Island starring Orson Welles. The beach bar there was part of the fort used in the film and is open every day.
